In September, I decided it was time for me to get my nose re-pierced. I was brave at 11 when my Mom ran an errand and jammed an earring through my nose. 30 minutes later, I was forced to remove it. 30 years later, I decide that I’m old enough to try again.
My daughter has had it done for several years now as well as others that I know. I did plenty of Google searches trying to determine which side of the nose and the meaning behind them. Apparently the left side is for female and is suppose to aid in easing childbirth. The right side is more normally for males/ females who prefer same sex relationships. This may or may not be true- but it’s what I remember from my research. Needless to say I choose left side.
Now what my research and friends/ family whom I trusted and interviewed did not tell me – how uncomfortable this is going to feel. Or that it catches more boogies than anything else! And it’s sore most of the time! It’s been two months- no concerns about how it’s healing or anything like that. It’s more just me and my O.C.D.
To finish my rank on this issue- if you don’t like to pick your nose don’t get it pierced.
Good luck!
